That’s what they did to me last time after it took 5 hours to get loaded.

So if it takes 5 hours, is that the excuse that gets used to justify a terrible securement job?

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

It's not illegal to complain about poor treatment.

I didn't say it was. If a place takes long to load, then it's pretty simple not to go back to that same place...

Many places I've only been to once. I tend not to complain much, because that shipper may be a home boys load out of the house.

If I don't like it, I never go back.

D.Tibbitt, Rickp and spyder7723 Thank this.

The times I’ve loaded prefab buildings out of Nucor they got on me at my appointment time. The load was usually built and they’d set it on your trailer in one shot. I do recall getting held up once when they had to add stuff to my load that was forgotten from an earlier load, but that was more of a paperwork deal because on paper the pieces they added to me had already crossed the border.

I think the truck pictured wasn’t one that loaded out west anywhere as they tend to be pickier about gut straps out there.

Took the picture in Missouri so not sure where they came from. The white truck next to him was the same company with the same load except not as many tiers. The white truck used edge protectors and strapped the different tiers.

    Really?

There was no need for that.

Someone on TTR gave me the idea. Dont recall who. But it was a great idea. Carry some 12-3 Romex wire. Strong enough to push/pull chains, straps. Rolls up and stores in very small space. Cheap or free.
