They do. You have no history with them. You will always be a second class citizen. Kinda like Celedon did to us after the Furniture Row Express buy out....or the Heartland Express buy out of Gordon.

Happy job hunting!! I will be doing it again soon too once we get relocated to Tennessee.

You too, depending on what part of TN, it should be easier to find a decent job there than where you're at now.

Headed to Sarasota for Monday morning. Gonna end up being one of the best weeks I've had since Wylie took over.

Hauling an all case load...tallest cases I've ever seen. 11 with 96" x 130" glass. Usually glass that big is shipped in stoces.

    Lonesome and Itsbrokeagain Thank this.

Wylies home time policy is 1.5 days off per week out. Also, you can bank as many days as you like.

Not sure how P/O'd they're gonna be with me after yesterday. FL's Wildwood scale gave me a $32.50 overweight ticket yesterday. The B/L said 44,700 lbs of glass on a spread axle single drop. With that much weight, I normally don't scale on a spread axle. Glass is pretty consistant when it comes to how accurate the actual weight is, and how balanced it is loaded. 11 packs means 6 packs on the back A-frame, 5 on the front. With 44,700 I should have been around 77-78,000 lbs gross with full fuel tanks. When he gave me the printout, I was 81,200 with 3/4 tanks. Subtracting my APU exemption, I got a ticket for 650 lbs over gross...$32.50. Since it doesn't go on a CSA category, I can just imagine a scolding for not checking my weight...and a $32.50 deduction from my check in the near future, but with how anal these people can be sometimes, ya never know.

And for those who insist on not going the recommended speed over the estimators,. Here is what it reads (I was stuck behind some slow pokes not doing the 45 mph speed)

    IMG_20200127_064255__01.jpg

It got my speed right, my length right and my spread measurement right...it didn't get my height right though

It's gonna be one of the best weeks since the Wylie takeover in October. I had a Spring Hill to Secaucus, then down to Church Hill to Sarasota. Then from Sarasota to Laurinburg. Roughly 3500 miles. And I am headed to Tuscaloosa from Laurinburg that will start next weeks miles. I am currently in Rockingham getting an alignment and some new steer tires since the ones I have feel like they're square. So, it's not all doom and gloom over here after all. And we got a msg from the Op's manager saying we have been awarded some additional lanes from AGC, so we have to use our hours as efficiently as we legally can.
