What other jobs are out there for truckers to transition to? Management? Dispatch? or?

I love driving, but the winter is so brutal, I've been sick for a whole week now, got the fever, then the cold, my body just can't take these -10 degrees anymore like how I was younger. So, Im just wondering if anyone has gotten an office job, or a warehouse job instead of being outside driving in the cold?? Thank you.

Dont waste your time doing something else cause you most likely will be back in a truck soon enough.

I got out of the truck for about 5 years. Office politics drove me mad. Construction paid too little for the amount of work. Dispatch... Well it's not fun being hates by the drivers and no respect from management.
I feel your pain but you may want to try dump truck or local delivery

I'd find a job driving cement mixer down south. I hear Parker, Arizona is nice in January.

    Move down south.

For me it's dispatching. Only that generations have changed since my time. My interview to become a dispatcher was good and bad. The bad was I scared half the 30 somethings in the other office annex with the answer to a dispatching scenario. Prefaced with BS. So... I don't bother with office stuff. I never did so I don't intend to start now.

I have worked major offices before in life and the politics along with cougars in these places are insane. Its much better to be out and away from them.
