They had a few oddballs lol. This video is of a Case Crossmotor, notice the engine sets sideways on the frame. The gearing & shafts are similar in my DC-4 Case. On the DC the input shaft to the transmission makes an immediate 90 degree turn soon as it leaves the clutch.... all the shafts in my DC are parallel to the rear axles instead of the crankshaft. The transmission shifts “side to side” versus front to back like normal transmissions. And the rear axles are driven by internal chains instead of gears.....

Sooooo, Dodge has to use a outside engine manufacturer to pull the plow??
