It’s simple to follow the money. A lot will depend on the court case in CA as to how much this spreads. NJ got shot down but at the same time they passed 4 or 5 new regulations dealing with IC/employee stuff. Worst case is the ABC test goes federal. No more independent contractors which means everyone gets their tax money sooner, the feds get an influx of money because owner operators leased to carriers will be getting their own authority, and the insurance companies will get a ton of cash when guys like me go from paying around $6k a year to $20k or more as a new carrier.

And like I said a few posts ago, you may be doing it right but for every one person that is there could be 50 that aren’t. And since there isn’t personal responsibility anymore they go complain about how unfairly they were treated and so on and we end up going down this road of the ABC test instead of what currently defines an IC or employee.

 

If one cannot work for themselves in these United States having been outlawed etc there is no point in working for below minimum wage for a company under W2.

They will keep your previous two week pay plus this current week . If you don't drive like they want u to drive. That is for most people few thousand dollars down the drain the more you work for them the worse it

if you decide to leave the company it's best to have a local cop with you be very very careful those guys are dangerous they don't hesitate to use weapons dumping people. Also be it's best to wait until you get your check on Friday for the pay.. most likely they will keep your deposit and any other pending check that you supposed to get after you leave they will not pay you and they don't care about the court
