    Haha

The only thing I find disappointing, other than the handling of the transition, is their 401K. 2%, low participation, and high fees is what I've been able to find out, but I can't find much current information. Low participation is probably due to a lot of OO and LP.

I'll stick around and see how things turn out. Even while with Superior I kept a job search going. I've got a few good leads, and if I'm not happy, there are great jobs out there where I can hang my hat, especially now that I'm approaching three years experience in the business.

I'm shocked at the amount of trucks that appeared at superior customers right when it got announced before I'd only see one once in the blue moon. There used to be "a" heniff driver up our way that was a owner operator on a solo account. Now they are everywhere everyday its like overnight they came out of no where. My superior yard does not have many drivers at all so its hard to really say what will happen to it. But with the amount of heniff trucks up here now... I hope we at least get a chance.

Oh...which yard are you out of? I don't think they are taking loads away from us and giving them to Heniff drivers. At least I like to think they aren't that messed up. But things have been really slow

People have to understand we are still in the slow season in the tank industry, now when things pick up if it is still hit and miss in regards to staying busy, then make your decision accordingly, but until then, let’s give it a chance

Yeah, kind of crazy to think they'd try to push drivers away by screwing them over. I doubt they spent a billion dollars to get the accounts and equipment but aren't going to do everything they can to retain the driver's to move product and satisfy customers. It's probably going to be alright for us drivers, not so much for dispatch, managers etc.

I’m a system driver for Superior. January has been my best month since being hired last August. Been seeing one drop and hook right after another. Over 3k miles a week. The merge? So far...so good. As far as this Mack that rides like a jack hammer, I would gladly trade it for a Pete with a real power leash.

I've been getting crappy runs since the new year started. Local crap and empty both ways runs. Not happy and ready to bail if things don't pick up in the next 2 weeks. My last check was $480. That's not worth leaving the house. I can drive a city bus for more money.

    Which geographical area you running?

Yikes! Stepan has been having production issues from what dispatch was telling me. Not sure if most of your runs come out of there but system runs do.

Yeah my dispatchers main shipper is Stepan. I know I should be grateful to get work but...it's getting old. If Stepan is our bread and butter and keeps going down, it really puts a damper on business. All our eggs in one basket...

The trick to getting a smooth ride with the mack is getting your shocks changed, I’m on my second mack since I’ve been with superior. Those superior peterbilts are overhyped, they don’t impress me at all

    Moose Knuckle Thanks this.
