Finding stuff to do at home is easy. I'll usually be smoking some meats of some sort. Making some jerky. Sitting in my lazyboy playing xbox

Doing my 36 in my truck though. That's where I need help. I shampoo my carpets every week, disinfect and scrub every inch of the truck. Do all my laundry. Go over my truck with a fine comb trying to find something wrong with it. After that I twiddle my thumbs. It's getting hard

50% of the open deck guys are bikers. True bikers, not those pretenders who sit in parking lots doing burnouts or can go farther than 15 miles from their home without putting their bike on a trailer.

I drive half the year and live in Asia the rest of the time. Life is too short, so get out and live it.

We hit walmart to restock. He gets a massage. We find someplace nice to eat. We hit a nail salon sometimes. We clean the truck, take showers, do laundry. We have a TV, dvd/blu ray player, and video game system. We call family and friends. We dont usually have too much more time than that.

I do 9 months and 3 months myself working to not having to come back to the us at all in the near future.

Which also leads to what I do in my down time. I learn to write code. Once I am good enough and I have a financial situation that will allow it I will retire. And move on to tapping out code part time from wherever in the world I choose to be at that moment.

I would like to work here in Asia, but I'm not about to work for slave wages of like $9 per day. I could learn anything if I really applied myself to it, but being over 50 now, it's like why bother? The state of trucking and the world in general just seems to be in a downward spiral dive. We know it's not going to end well. At some point you just say, "whatever" and don't care anymore.

I've lived a better life than most, so there's that. Glad I'm not 20 and starting out in this screwed up degenerate world led by oppressive gov'ts and tyrants every where I've been.

The only reason I’m not in Asia full time right now is the wages. I make more in a good week trucking than many of my Filipino friends make in a year. Hopefully learning to code and working remotely will hopefully be a solution to that for me.

I'm trying so hard to make my garden work without me. So. Hard. It's my goal to be OTR and garden. I swear I will do it. Last year I planted strawberries, sunflower, peppers, lettuce, spinach, tomato. I got a little bit of everything. I bought a wifi watering system that waters based on weather. This spring I'm going to buy a sensor so it knows the ground moisture. I WILL CONQUER. lol. I also see all my favorite people like my kids and boyfriend and parents. And I dont really shop when OTR so I shop shop shop at home. I grocery shop a month's worth of groceries which I completely love doing. I always eat out at a nice restaurant. And DO LAUNDRY. I love fresh blankets and sheets. I'd do it at ts but everyone looks at me like I'm nuts so I just febreeze until I get home.
