Being a ‘94, did it have an N14 Celect originally

 

Buyer beware, but Don Baskin truck sales in TN had one that looked very similar to that, here while back.

 

We lost ya?!?!?

 

Did that truck have McDonald equipment or Newport equipment on it by chance? I think it was gone by the time Greenway acquired it.

The truck I'm thinking of was a 77 model. Shiney 290 and 13 direct. Some called it an 8 under

 

It was long before Greenway had the dealerships. It is a ‘77, with a 290 but has a 13 OD. When it was a Deere truck, it had a 318DD. Engine blew on the second owner(A.E. Simpson Contracting, Scott City MO) and he rebuilt it but it didn’t last long. Guy close to me, who owns a big truck salvage yard, dropped the 290 in it for him and was still used on a lowboy. I’ll have to ask him again but he couldn’t exactly remember what year he put it in ‘85ish, maybe.

It's not the one I'm thinking of. The one I'm thinking of was in service at Newport Arkansas right up till Greenway bought them out about 2001 or 2
