What kind of ELD are you running? I have Keep Truckin and I use the Y cable to hook into the data port. When they hook the laptop up they have to disconnect the KT Y cable and go right into the data port. It won’t read correctly with the Y cable. I’d like to have a Scan Gauge but I’m hesitant because I don’t know if it will work properly or not.

    Not to hijack, but...
Did you look at BlueFire before you made the decision to go with the Scan Gauge?

Don't know much about the KR scan gauge. But I know you can't have to much information.

Got my truck out of the shop today and ran a couple hours down the road and hooked this thing up so I know little about it yet , but will say it is very very detailed with info I'll probably never use .
It did show i had a stored code and it was easy to clear .
I only see myself using this for the ecm info , gauges and instant mpg info to determine gear selection.
I already track my average mpg on the profit gauges website anyway and have for quite awhile .

    PE_T and SAR Thank this.

Spent the day getting this thing figured over a 400 mile ride in wind and hills and can definitely see where it will save money with the instant and average mpg monitoring as opposed to my long term method of every fill up data entry which I will continue ....it really allows for dialing things in on the go as to what works and what doesent with real numbers.
The rest of the data may be useful at some point but doesent really tell me anything I dont already know from my dash gauges .
Well worth the 200.00 dollars in my opinion but it's not going to save you anything if you arnt willing adjust your right foot .

Yep. Being be to dial in on the conditions at that exact moment can make a huge impact on the monthly fuel burn.

I'll also add ....very easy to hook up and install in my isx powered cascadia.
Easy to operate and had it figured out in about a 100 miles .
Choose any of a myriad of 4 displays: I chose instant mpg , average mpg , turbo boost and engine load .
    Take your pick .

sealevel, SAR and PE_T Thank this.

Doesent display much with the engine at idle but the 2 left columns are engine load and turbo boost .

    SAR Thanks this.
