True I see your poing but if they are letting people who arent employed into the building have it be to sign for papers or to check in, then I would think they should have a restroom available for ya to use. But I also see why places dont let drivers use em, I mean we've all seen how others treat the stalls at truckstops. I wouldnt wanna clean that up. The one thing that always bothered me the most was people peeing on the seats when there are urinals in there. Atleast kick the seat up with your shoe if you dont want to touch it, I mean what if you had to go poop and the only stall has pee all over it. Yeah nothing like making a bad day worse. But I always tried to stop somewhere before I was going to a receiver or shipper just cause I wouldnt count on them having a restroom.

I suggest you read them first.

I used to deal alot with the ADA and their rules.

We are not subject to them, if we are not allowed on the floors. Therefore ADA has nothing to do here.

From the little I read, if a business provides restrooms to the public they have to make them handicapped accessible. There's a lot about places with restrooms that only allow customers to use them so they still have that control over them.

That is correct. But if they do not OFFER a restroom to the drivers, then it is their choice. However, ADA applies to them and their employees.

There is no law that states a company must provide a restroom to the driver. It would be nice, but not a law.

I own property and you deliver on it. My people unload the truck. You are not allowed on my dock for saftey reasons.

There is no law that says I have to allow you into my building for a restroom.

It does not mean that as a truck driver, I agree with it.
