Generally, lease units are well cared for. I don't know about them specifically though.

Thx Heavy.

So what are thoughts on a 2015 international prostar with a Cummins ISX engine? Thinking about getting one

Heavy D I need help here. I bought a 2015 Prostar N13. I was told the only way these trucks are worth it is if some things are "altered". Fast forward a few weeks and surprisingly my DPF light came on. It said I needed to do a parked regen. I did. It was billowing smoke (coming out of pipe and canisters) I finally shut the regen down and drove on. Now the DPF light is flashing and it wont even attempt a regen. Thoughts?

Flashing light is a higher alert warning. Eventually you will get a stop engine light and full derate. You likely have a massive leak somewhere if you can see lots of smoke coming out from around everything. Need to take it in and have it looked at.

N13 are better than the Maxxforces, but not flawless by any means. It's basically a Maxxforce with SCR now also added to it. I am also sorry to say but Eaton automatics are becoming more trouble than they are worth with early clutch failures along with general wiring and electronic problems. I would stick to a good ol' manual if I was buying one.
