First thing I would try is to bring your tire pressure up another 10-20 psi, depending on the max cold PSI on the casing (I don’t suggest going over the stated pressure). Even soft sidewalk tires will stiffen up with more pressure.

If your already at your max there, then I would look toward wheel bearing torque. They should have re-torqued the steers when they did the kingpins. But that doesn’t mean they did. But I didn’t read anything in your post so far that sounds like anyone has touched your drives bearings.

If your still searching After that I would get a good set of lights and eyes on all your frame crossmembers bolts and try to find something loose.

If all that checks out, then I’m really suggest off the wall and look at your cab suspension. It could be if your cab mounts or cab torsion bar is loose your actually feeling the cab move. If it’s moving, it’s attached to the steering wheel and that could be causing some of your issues...

But after that...... I got nothin...‍♂️

 

Seems like you almost changed everything why don't you change out the front tires, or maybe the rim is a little bent.

 

That would normally indicate excessive toe on the steer axle. Is this an air tide front end? Air ride tends to have a walking feeling to it. What is your average steer weight? Normally that’s not an issue. If you have a Dana steer axle and run light on your front end, it won’t be pleasant.

 

I would probably be thinking the chinese tires losing their balance and not being real compatible with the good Michelins.Or some tires only having 80 psi in them(especially) a steer, or steering wheel not kept exactly "centered" during last alignment etc.JMO

 

what kind of fuel mileage difference have you seen? The XDA5 isn’t a very fuel efficient tire.

 

I haven't seen any difference in a fuel MPG, only difference in how truck rides. The XDA5 gives you a smooth ride, I love it. Also, XDA5 is a bit noisy tires, depends on a surface you drive. I got used to that noise so it doesn't bother me at all.

 

I was looking at those or the X Multi D, not the energy, for 6x2 truck that has duals on it.
