New Adventure with Hansen&Adkins

Hey there. A week ago I started my orientation with H&A Auto Transport. I'm a brand new car hauling. Always tanker. I'm still thinking if I doing the right move. Whatever question you have, shoot it. So far everything looks "exciting".

 

The first 4 days if was all paperwork and safety videos, and road test drive. The 5th day My trainer make me backing up into a trailer and drive it down. Let me tell you, it's real hard. But it was fun too. The guy is really good. So today after lunch I went to the training room, I watch a bunch of infinit-i.net videos and at 0400 pm I drove home. By the way I'm training at the Jacksonville,Fl location and I live in Orlando,Fl

 

To answer some questions an advance. Yes they hold 2 week before you get the first paycheck. But they offer a cash advance check of $500. Training pay is $16.50 per hour.

 

Man, I'm don't wanna sound to optimist, but those guys at Jacksonville, where I'm going to be working, are really cool and they seem to know their craft. I'm don't know 'bout other terminals, but I spoke with other drivers from different places and everything is good vives.

 

One thing that I staple it in my mind. The first 6 months of this jobs is not bout money. You're going to struggle for your paycheck. But once you get an idea of the craft you're going to bank it decently

 

Sorry to icecold24k and Nobroker, but my mind has been really busy trying to figure out some personal matters. But I'm back. More optimistic than ever. It's been really productive 3 weeks so far with H&A.
2nd week it was all yard practice, loading & unloading cars, really hard but it get less difficult with practice.
