I'm puzzled ... now the op doesn't have to reply but someone else can.
When I put a truck in my fleet, I have to send my insurance company the serial number and plate number of that truck, they actually check to see if the plate is valid and registered to my company.
Now I know that some owner don't have to do this but I do.
My insurance company would drop me if I had used a plate that I just got from somewhere else.
And i know I would become a high risk fleet so I would have a hard time insuring the fleet. -

That is the same in Ohio. However not once have I been asked to provide it. Just sign a paper stating you wont drive with out it. Silly waste of time.062 Thanks this. -
