They dont want us to chain.

 

Taking a 34 at the Flying J in Bakersfield, CA. Will have to run the night shift to get to my appt in Tracy on Wednesday morning, but works out good that I can get the Fresno load on Thursday. There is a guy that sells fruit and what not outside of the Jack in the Box next to the j. I got this big thing of Pistachios for $35.

 

Waiting to get unloaded in Joliet, IL. Pick up in Mendota tomorrow morning going back to South Dakota. Going to have to take my reset after I pick up in Mendota. Forgot to keep this thread updated. I have been running well. Should hit 6500+ miles for this pay period. We get paid every other week, instead of weekly. Not sure if I said before but writing it anyways.

 

Sitting in a door getting loaded in Mendota, IL. Ready to get out of here and kick back for a bit. Going home in about 2 weeks so I will end up doing mainly Midwest regional type loads. Been out since January 1st. Easy to stay out long when I'm not concerned about miles, loads, or money.

 

Nice drive from Mendota, IL to Watertown,SD. Have a stop here and then the last one in Huron. Probably will reload jerky headed to Underwood, IA. Business as usual. Excited to head home next week. Been out since January 1st.

 

Ope, didn't realize I already said that on the previous post. Oh well, as you can tell I'm chomping at the bit to go home

 

Made my deliveries without much issues. The place in Watertown was a little inconvenient because I had to stop traffic on the street to back in but it wasn't difficult.

I eventually made my way back to Alpena to take a load to Underwood, IA. Now I'm parked in Laurens, IA picking up here at Jack links going back to Alpena. Rinse and repeat. Good miles to boot.

 

Did the Jack Links circle yesterday and doing it today too. Currently unloading in Underwood, IA. Will go to Laurens, IA for a load of meat and take it back to Alpena.

 

Got back to Alpena yesterday for another load going down to Underwood, IA. Made it to the coffee cup in Burbank, SD last night. Arguably one of my favorite truck stops on the road. Getting closer to home time. Just got to keep the shiny side up it's a windy one today.
