February so far -
Pulled out on the 3rd - in position for delivery on the 10th. Swung through home last night.
One long load - 70' long, Two was supposed to be 70', but grew to 10' wide - Three was a 53' full tarp outside in the snow legal load.
480 dead head miles and 2330 loaded for a 80/20 split - an improvement on the usual.
$7950 to the truck.
Had to push the CPA off till I get back - Wednesday. I like to get that out of the ay, but I was out on the original appointment date and it dumped snow enough where Gretchen didn't feel comfortable going down there.
Block heater is no longer operating - so that needs to be replaced. I think it lasted 2 years, I use it regularly in the winter - hate cold starts. @Hurricane69 and I will eventually solve the low air buzzer and moisture problem, aside from that we're mechanically functional.
Waiting on some work that should bolster the New Years' efforts - patiently. Trying to strategically remain busy - if that makes sense.
The journey begins - purchased a truck.

If you start the motor with the block heater on it will kill it.
low air switches caused me lots of problems, I change to a different brand from fleetpride, had to change the wire ends to push on from screw on, no problems do several years. I replaced one with the Peterbilt ones and made less than a mile before it failed.
They are generic, you may need a brass adapter to make it fit.1951 ford, Hurricane69 and blairandgretchen Thank this. -

I know - growing up with electric kettles, if you ran them anywhere close to dry they would fail quickly. -

Mine is Detroit 12.7 and is located in a short manifold - external from the block.
@spyder7723 - is the system only under pressure at 180 degrees - therefore, at 30 degrees, air gaps may occur?
(Thinking out loud - I barely passed high school Science class)Hurricane69 Thanks this.
