I’m pretty sure they lightened up on that, I’ve been here a while and know certain policies have changed.

 

I’d give a call to Krystal in recruiting, I know they backed way off, require you to be 23. In order to make good money at Pritchett you have to hustle and pull your loads, Ive been here nearly 8 years total, but by no means recruit for them. Not many guys out there anymore willing to work their 14 daily, or be on the road like I am. If you genuinely have an interest, I can fill you in on a lot of the positions we have, aside from hauling logs, I’ve pretty much done most of what we do.

 

It’s worth a call, she’ll be able to tell you if we can work with you. Trucking in your 20’s leads to some bad employment decisions, I think a lot of companies understand that.

 

Man!! You wouldn’t believe this. In 2018 I was delivering in Georgia, 1 hr away from Florida border . I started a conversation with this Cuban dude who was also delivering at the same place . He told me that his company was based in FL and he drive local , 300 miles around . He said that he was getting paid $ 200.00 daily , his days were usually 12-14 hrs . No benefits.
He proudly told me that he is making good money as it is, because other companies paid $180.00 per day . I was like WTF !!!!!!!! I wonder why the rates are so #### cheap ........ labor is cheap !!!! I used to go to Florida 1-3 times a year , usually when I wanted to go visit family or to the beach . I haven’t gone to FL since I hear that crap .
So, going back to the point . Who screws up this industry???????? We, the O/O !!!!!
