It's the same kind if thing as bubbles that make cavitation in the water jacket so bad. Even if there's no air in the system, the coolant can still boil, which will leave a pocket of gas there. I can see how it could be an issue.

Ventured a little wrenching myself last month. Nothing insane - flex pipe from turbo down that was leaking, an air switch in the dash for differentials that was leaking, a block heater . . . that I'm simply fearful of turning on now . . . and 2 low air pressure sensors that I had to do twice, because - that's how you learn not to be a dummy next time. And greased the puppy real good.
Oh - and found the little block of fuses that was RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY DUMB FACE that fixed the blue beacon truck wash chicken light short - after I had chased the ever living martyr out of the wiring harness from chicken to egg.
Let's hope, . . . . wait - all that hope and change stuff didn't work. Let's remain focused for the remainder of the year and get some results consistent with the first 2 months.Dave_in_AZ, Oscar the KW, Tug Toy and 7 others Thank this. -
You talking about the fuse block inside dash?Tug Toy, 1951 ford and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
Repeat entire process.
Fuse block was in the ICT sleeper - 4 quadrants, upper, lower, left and right. Just didn't see them.
