I drive a Volvo. You try to get in to my cab while I'm sleeping and you're gonna get a flip flop to the side of the head.......or two. You've been warned.

I drive a Volvo, too. I tie one leg of my track suit to each door handle before I turn in.

I use the seat belt from each seat...wrap around the door handle and snap locked. May take an extra loop or two to snug tight

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

This idea though reminds me of seeing bars on all the windows on the ground floor of the projects. Yeah, it keeps the S-bags out, but I always wondered though how they'd get out if the apt caught fire...

Good point.... I'd go thru the sleeper hatch, or unlatch the seat belt. I saw a truck fire back in December off I70 in Illinois... The driver was caught in the back, no sleeper hatch... Other drivers got him out before Fire showed up.

Geez some of you guys lock up like its Prison...

I'd be more scared of my truck on fire and not being able to get out with the seat belts wrapped around the handles than I would be thinking some crack head is trying to get my wallet while I'm asleep.

Sleeper hatch or ...seat beat is just a snap release, same as when you want to get out of driver seat.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

When I am asleep, I have a kitchen knife ready, if nothing else. I can't imagine someone breaking in to my truck while I am in there asleep. Frankly, it takes guts to do that. Truck drives are not wimps for the general part so if someone does it, I assume that person is ready to stub me and ready to receive a stub too. So I'll go all the way. Even though, I am not Rambo.
