I've just had the batteries replaced in my '06 Volvo and now the blower fan in the sleeper as well as the overhead light does not work.
The fan control switch on the dash used to stay lighted all the time, even with the key off. Now it does nothing... No light... Nada.
I read the manual and apparently there's some sort of low battery cutout relay that kills circuits for the lights and stuff in the sleeper. Anyone else experience this problem and maybe have a quick fix?

I had the same problem in my 07 780. I unplugged the sleeper control panel for about 1 minute and it fixed the problem.

I wonder if you just keep driving the truck (till it senses enough +voltage) if it will fix itself? How many miles have you put on since the new batteries?
I was having a similar problem, except bad batteries. It fixed itself after the new bats were installed, and I drove it for a couple hours.
Might not be a bad idea to unplug that sleeper panel as suggested above. -
It will not fix itself. I ran with mine like that for about 2 weeks. There is a capacitor in the sleeper panel that stores a small amount of voltage unless unplugged for about 1 minute. It is a glitch that when the voltage is lost the panel stays in the low voltage shut down mode. If you unplug the panel and plug it back in you will be happy.

Bingo! Sandlapper hit the nail on the head. I unplugged the panel for a minute and now everything is working again.
Many thanks!
