Nice! Good luck. I don't think you will regret your decision.
No problem! The schedule has been hectic but I am learning to adjust to it.

I just scheduled a interview with them next Friday. If I don't get the job I’m just gonna buy my tractor and go O/O and hull containers at a local port near my house.

    icecold24k Thanks this.

Good luck to you in the interview! It is kind of different they ask a few situational questions to see how you react in different situations. You will do fine, keep us updated.

    Danny707 Thanks this.

So how’s GES working out for you? I am a Dallas driver, we were supposed to start GES this past November, but that has been pushed back another year or so.

Well I would much rather deliver to a PEC than to a Bin especially a porta-bin. At our plant the direct to store stops is dead stacked so I am not real fond of having to cart up those stops. The best part of it is the fact I can plan my days off because they are the same every week. The bad is you have to unload everyday doing GES. I miss those driving runs sometimes. All in all I like it, but it isn’t like We have much other choice.

I feel you on this I would much rather do GES runs than the Bins or the Vend customers. All of our GES is already carted so it makes it super easy. Roll the carts off. pick up your empties and KDs and roll out. However our smaller box trucks are all deadstacked and they have to cart it up and me being extra board I get those runs on rare occasions and they kind of suck because they can be anywhere from 10-14 stops.

I have seen those 59’ trailers when I delivered to Dallas. One or two even made it to Jonesboro by accident. How many cases do they normally hold? About 25-26 hundred would be my guess?
