What are the pros and con of the DD13 and DD15 Detroit Engine?

Last time I checked, DD15 is what’s used for heavy haul (80k). DD13 is a smaller engine. You can tell the truck has a DD13 because the hood on the Freightliner is much smaller.

BBC can be long for either, but the 113, iirc will only accommodate the DD13, and that CNG fueled Cummins. Saw one of those up in Wisconsin with underslung tanks in addition to the tank rack box behind the sleeper.

Manual regen initiated via a laptop with the software required as part of the fix.

Got 318k on this 2018 now, and the regens are working as specified.
