Going through the thread I looked at the picture, where you show, where the fuses are. On this picture it is the upper inner connection. So, is that connection C "Actuator"? Fits to that, what I did find.
Remains the question how to unplug the connector without distroying it.

Just two screws for each connector. Wiggle the body, not the wires.

Does still not fire up. ECM cables are now checked. Battery plus, ignition plus and ground is as shown in the cable diagram. Fuses are checked (the box next to the clutch paddle and the two fuses before the ECM) Coolant is ok. Oil as well. Shut off valve does function with separate plus cable - no engine start.
There is no power at the shut off valve, there is no „check engine soon“ sign when turning the key, there is no door light ( might have another reason).
Is there any other fuse or solenoid?
How can I search the function of the check engine soon sign. As long as that does not function I fear a bad contact or even a broken ECM. -
Should be a 135 amp breaker in the battery box for cab in left front corner of box. Check that.
SAR Thanks this. -
We have a ecm for a select that we'd set a heat gun on the frame rail pointed at the ecm for usually around ten minutes till the check engine light worked properly then it would fire right up. Usually happened when the temps were colder.
We've since changed out the ecm but kept that one for a test unit. You can also take the ecm off and bring it inside and put next to the heater. I've done that also. -
Still no progress at this projekt. There is full voltage at the ECM, Check engine sign is ok, but does not get signal from ECM.
I will try the "warm up" idea as well -
ECM test time. I wouldn't buy Cummins reman, get it repaired.

@Hurricane69
Do I understand that right, are the capacitors inside the ECM? There possibly has been a short, fixing new batteries - very short and no fuse did brake, but may be the mentioned capaciters did. Is there any way that I can check them by myself?Hurricane69 Thanks this. -
@spsauerland
Not so easy to find a spezialist in Germany to repair the ECM. To ship it to the states is to long time and would have to pass customs - so more or less no option.
