Good morning everybody.
I’m in the process of changing a water pump on a 2006 KW T800 with a C15 MXS. Since it was due for an oil change, I dropped the oil as well. There were 2 pieces of metal stuck to the magnetic drain plug. My previous experience is with farm equipment, and we never got to do much engine work at my last shop. Any help identifying these parts and figuring out what to do next would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Looks like an adjusting screw for a rocker. Might have been from a previous failure.
I would pull the valve covers and take a look.homeskillet, Chubby Fly, magoo68 and 5 others Thank this. -
Sounds good! Thanks again for the help!

It turned out to be one of the bleed orifices from the IVA housing. The housing is cracked. Thanks for all of the help!

This is where it cracked.

I'd pull all of them and inspect for loose or broken rocker mount studs.
