There is an old timers truck to burn mold off berries that's extremely easy and cheap. however I I believe it's probably unhealthy for the end consumer so I won't share it on a public forum. I highly recommend anyone that buys berries at a store to wash them thoroughly, or better yet buy them at local u pick farmers.

More berries got rejected. Total of 15 pallets to deal with. Broker has me delivering in the morning to a produce market who bought it.

Part of it in Avondale, PA and the rest in Logan Township, NJ. As long as you aren’t shopping in the Cleveland, OH area you’ll be fine. These have mold and some were too mushy. They just rejected everything rather than pick through it.

    RStewart Thanks this.

I also had picks in Swedesboro and Gloucester, but those were peaches, nectarines, and avocados. I was a rolling produce isle on this one.

Lol. Pulled grapes out of Vineland, NJ the other day. Didn't know they shipped produce from up there.

this time of year it pays pretty decent. Our growing season hasn’t started so we import everything. Those warehouses in that area of NJ and around Philly import massive amounts of produce in the fall and winter.

    SoDel and RStewart Thank this.

I used to pull it out of Yuma, AZ and Nogales, AZ this time of year. Fixing to start pulling berries out of Florida.

The saga continues. Now I have to take 7 pallets back to NJ. This places decided they didn’t want it. I’m getting paid for it, but still. This is nuts.

Did you inspect the product at pick up or were you able to sign SL&C?
