    *Bangs head. I should know. Ugh.

    I like to take my old smoky joe up to Jersey someday see how they like it when the daily qouta of warming is destroyed. (We have no emissions at all here...) I intend to fix smokey with the replacement plugs and a new coil. But thats on the list. One cylinder persists in not burning well for whatever reason.

    Side gig. Yard jockey pays the rent and health care. Side work pays everything else.

    Almost pulled the trigger on a little single axle 2001 Mack CH, but got nervous about the odo reading 228k, but the hour meter was at 39k. Still hunting...

    Can’t speak for NY, but I wouldn’t doubt it. A long time ago I got stopped once in NJ coming off exit 5 on the Turnpike in an old Scania and got sniffed.

    What type of Mack is this that we have? 1BD6A463-977C-4C23-822C-E1420C08DE6B.png

    Is there a purpose to the style of cab for this truck?

    This is also a twin stick shifter.

    Dino Soar: a U model? I’ll have to research that.

    This truck still gets used. It’s just parked for the winter.

    @Shawn2130

    I thought that cab was offset so that the door was even with the trailer or dump bed... I think the idea was about having better visibility or something like that.

    I gotta say, I really like your avatar. That is my exact truck... right down to the color.

    Thats a U Model Offset.

    A giant pain in the right side when you have to add two feet to everything beyond right side window. Some of us do not count that high on all fingers and toes.

    Shawn2130 and MACK E-6 Thank this.

    Dino soar, X1: That cab sure feels small and weird when climbing into the passenger side to get something. Gotta kneel down on the fuel tank while the driver side I can stand on the step to reach inside. Just weird.... Likely climbing into the cab of a Cat 747 dump truck maybe feel weird too....

    I really like this blue freightliner. Still waiting for the engine to be finished (11 months since being opened up)

    This model is a classic with a set back axle I think?

    x1Heavy Thanks this.
