Hey all, so I graduated trucking school back in May of last year however due to some personal matters I wasn't able to jump straight into trucking like I had planned. Now that I'm financially stable and things are better in my personal life I'm looking to get my career back on track here. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good company that offers good training for someone who is new to the industry with no experience and will accept someone who has been out of the game for a few months? I have my Class A and all of my endorsements. I do have 1 moving violation in a personal vehicle but it has since been taken care of and I did traffic school for it.

Right now I'm currently looking at Freymiller and Schuster. I also tried Prime but they want me to sign a 1 year contract & Wilson Logistics won't touch me because I have no experience..which is weird since they have a CDL school. Anyway, I'd appreciate the advice!

    Thanks! :)

Freymiller and Schuster are both good choices.

    Knight Refrigerated - Knight Transportation

    Knight Refrigerated
If you are looking for plenty of miles, Knight’s refrigerated division could be the right choice. Knight refrigerated drivers can spend more days over the road, if they choose, because the average reefer length of haul is 750 miles.

Just curious if you decided on a company? Because I'm interested in some of the same companies

I would choose Swift over Knight any day.
From talking to some of their drivers they seem to be micromanaged a lot more than I am.

Although, it does matter who your DM is, and what terminal you are out of, for some of it.
