Looks like someone was getting paid by the ton,,overloaded for sure! I think liquid sucrose is almost 8 lbs. a gallon, times what, 9,000 gallons? Bingo, 100 grand gross.

It says organics on the tanker. What kind of high fructose corn syrup is organic?

Tankers dont crush like that when loaded. Im betting someone just unloaded and forgot to open a vent, especially since they said there was nothing spilled.

Might just be advertising the dairy's (Dutch Farms) organic milk varieties. I'm guessing they were hauling a load of corn syrup to their own plant for use in stuff like chocolate milk.

IDK, I think this happened while in transit, and the only thing that kept it from breaking in half, was the dolly legs are on the ground. Must have made an awful noise

I cant help but wonder how big a pot hole or bump did he go over. If he was loaded and went through a significant bump. As well as perhaps a dent in the tank. Oh well, not my headache.

Bud A. and x1Heavy Thank this.

He was eastbound on I 74. The dolly legs are up. There wouldn't be touching the ground if the trailer wasn't broke.

    liquid sugar?

If that thing has two compartmented tanks and well overweight its going to snap and fail just like that one did.

It must have been a single compartment tank, I don't see two hatches. SO it will still fail when overloaded with that heavy sugar.

    lovesthedrive and 201 Thank this.

We had a guy suck one in and it finally collapsed during transit. Hit a huge bump in the freeway where they where grinding/repaving and the shock of the hit was the final straw. He was 45 miles north of the place he delivered too.
