Hey guys an e-log question. With the formal ELD mandate now in effect and your having to request permission to PC how are things going with shippers/receivers?

Has Magnum had to adjust appointment times? Are you all getting pretty much the same miles?

Things have smoothed out at Kivi, lots of people had issues at first mostly due to driving above 5 mph and putting themselves on the drive line. Trusted drivers are allowed to set our own appointments (unless a crane is involved) and most of our stuff is open anyway so it’s all good.

Lost time here and there in order to conform to ELD is a given. Time is money. Lost time driving = lost earnings. Math doesn't lie.

 

CO in the cab again. Sitting at 41 ppm when running. Second or third time this has happened to me over the years.

If you haven't bought a carbon monoxide detector with a ppm readout, please do so. They're only $30.

From my old auto 16 to this new one there is no comparison. Everything is better. Except for where they put the hazard switch. The hazard switch location is retarded.

 

Definitely, can’t count the times I’ve turned on the engine fan attempting to turn my hazards
