ohh I see. net? I doubt any company driver at a generic reefer outfit is going to be netting 5k -7k a month tbh. I wouldn't believe what they say
5k isn't even near 100k, 7k is a little closer but still far off
funny how people still believe it after all these years
been a great first week, everything is so organized compared to TransX lol
I left, now with J&R Hall as a city driver.
well I don't have to worry as I'm no longer working there, was an interesting 3 years that's for sure
IDK how TransX out of Calgary is doing, but out of Winnipeg it's absolutely horrible. No freight. People in office losing jobs left and right....
my 1500 watt one has trouble firing up my microwave sometimes
Microwave wattage refers to the amount of power it outputs (heating power) most 700 watt microwaves have an input (power it uses) of 1000~1100...
no forced dispatch since CN took over, nothing has changed in that regard.
I'm a company driver.
Speedgauge IS a pain in the butt. I drive hwy...
yeah 11 is the faster and shorter route coming from Montreal
if you're coming from the GTA heading west you can take highway 17 it's shorter by about 72 km and less annual snowfall compared to 11, also...
TransX being HHG and forced dispatch is not true at all, I've been there for 3 years. it's been practical miles since I've been there in 2016....
You guys have never been to / lived in Winnipeg before... the roads in Montreal are wonderful!
still a little on the lower side for most van/reefer companies.
haven't really found a higher rate in Winnipeg besides TransX, .47 Canada .50 USA...
bison base wage is .41 Canada. 46 USA out of Winnipeg
haha I'm way too young for the days where logbooks weren't around
nowadays with the logbook I meant like just on duty time not including the 8 hr...
I think you mean 26 - 28 hours of on duty time not drive time
even that's on the slower side though
I run hard so a little delay from an inspection isn't gonna make me late
