Maybe he gets paid by the 100wt. Those chep pallets are kind a heavy.
I like how the name and dot number are covered up.

In mother rosha, chep fret haul you.
Look at the bright side of this protest.
People see it and think; ...well, they, evidently, are not making too much money.
It will have a sound resonance of discouraging a purchase rush for very inexpensive used equipment. Either from dealers or auctions.
As far as the physical appearance and public appeal...well, better this than all turds, and pee streaks and thrash left at parking lots. Pride and respect for a truck driver, unfortunately for a long time now, do not come hand in hand.magoo68 Thanks this.
Are you dumb enough (you did like to call people names like that here, didn't you) not to get that this is not Soviet Union and when I haul 1 dol a mile that's my prerogative? , that's none of you business and you will stop harassing me here!Last edited: May 4, 2020
I posted this yesterday in another thread:
picked up on Friday 04/24/20, left Saturday night...came back last night at 11:45 pm
Bolingbrook, IL - Woodland, PA - $1108 ($40 detention included)
McElhattan, PA - Denver, CO - $2079
Lincoln, NE - Frankfort, IN - $866 ($50 detention included)
Plainfield, IN - Oswego, IL - $410
total miles: 3844 (about 600 DHM) $ 4463
fuels spent: $ 1184.06 (discount of $526.17 included)
tolls: $ 60.65
I don't collect unemployment, at least yet. That trip came to be what it came to be...and had I been able to have gotten $10 000 for the same run, I would have taken it. I took what I was able to get. My choice. I will do it again, if I have to or want to.
Now I have $3200 after fuel (and 8 days of work) and able to go to a store and buy food, pay insurance premiums for business and home, cars, many other bills.
END OF STORY!
Now, that guy decided to park his truck and get food stamps. That's his choice. But he wants everybody else do the same...and if you don't do it, he implies that you are stupid or he comes to another thread and directly insults me with "Typical cheap White Volvo" invective.
IDES (Illinois Unemployment) would award me $980 per week. Since, I have enough funds for possible repairs and the truck in a good working order, I don't see a reason why I should not bring home $3000 after 8 days for whatever ####king rate I run. Maybe next Friday, I'll do the same and I have a total of $6500 after three weeks instead of $3000 of food stamps.
As soon as they pay 4 dol a mile, I'll be sure willing to accept those rates too.
When the truck breaks down really bad, too much money to fix... only then I'll consider going to unemployment or work for somebody else. That's my personal conviction. Nobody else's business.Last edited: May 4, 2020
