What creates the hydraulic pressure for the brakes? I read somewhere that it makes pressure through the powersteering pump.So with that logic I assume if I have powersteering that should elminate the brake pressure issue? I know this system has an auxilliary ABS pump 1 and ABS pump 2 that turns on when you hit the pedal even when the truck is off and that does sound off on my truck. My problem is that I am getting a brake warning light and brake pressure light, and the pedal is soft and goes to floor way to easily like theres no pressure. These issues happend after a line cracked and almost all of the brake fluid drained out of the system. I'm thinking its the master cylinder or brake booster. Any help would be appreciated.

The hydro/brake booster has a holding bottle that will let you have 2 or 3 brake use with eng. off it can be hard to bleed if its bad so a new one not rebuilt one should be instaled if you cant get it bled out?

Update, Ended up bleeding it out again and after a while found there was no pressure going to the front brakes. Ended up being air in the master cylinder. After bleeding that for a while I was able to get everything back in order. Thanks.

    I have 2007 international 4300 466

    Hydro breaks

My break light is on and the Abs light is on and it’s chiming.

My break peddle feels normal and it breaks just fine. Was told the rear pump is out. But I can hear the pumps when it press the break when the truck is of and the key is in.

How would I know if the rear pump is off
Or any suggestions to text them or what should I do?

phxgoodhelptruck, were you ever able to figure out your issue? My 07 4300 is doing the exact thing. Ive replaced front rotors and pads and master cylinder. now im not getting fluid to the rear of the truck

Sounds like the wabco full power hydraulic brakes....

Master cylinder is a hydraulic pilot input to the pump valve assembly. The HCU has no servicable parts, has to be serviced as an assembly.
When bleeding its best to use a pressure bleeder.
Without having a scan performed, your shooting in the dark.

The manual is a free download. Here is a link.
Review the section on bleeding, quite the process.

I have a bluepoint nexus IQ to scan codes.
Any scanner that will read abs codes should give you a starting point.
There is diag charts by code in the manual link I sent.
