I think we need full service fuel islands with fuel attendants. Than we don't need to use on duty time on logs.

Or a track system that takes the truck and inserts it in a space.
This would negate the need for new drivers to actually learn how to park, and they wouldn't feel intimidated or demeaned at the Petro.
This could also be done with the fuel island phone app.Sirscrapntruckalot and Czar_Zero Thank this. -

Here is an idea every parking space or at least half should have pumps on them?

I'm relaxing at the Petro in Ontario. Deserved too, trully worked ### off last few days.
Anyway, half the fuel island is under construction. The half you can see from the street.
The other half is no line. Fuel, windows, get some coffee, slice of lasagne. Still no one behind me.
Now like I said, from the street, it all looks under construction, so consequently the lines at the TA are 6 trucks deep out onto the street.
And I'm sure the love of thy fellow trucker is rampant at the TA right now. -
In addition of all the inconsiderate drivers causing unwanted delays at the fuel islands. After you finally get fueled you walk in to get your fuel receipt maybe hit the head , and grab a coffee you end up at the back of the long line waiting to check out with one cashier working and three behind the counter.
D.Tibbitt, djoh615893, kurbski and 2 others Thank this.
