The news stated that only 500 gals were lost and the team of hazmat was successful in preventing any going into the James River. In my opinion, the First Responders and the whole crew that worked this accident did an amazing job in a timely manner.

That’s still a lot by a fair margin! Even though they prevented it from getting into the James River it can still leach into any nearby water tables (ground water/aquifers,etc.) and cause issues.

Everything. I was running that road from I-83 to I-40 every week for 2 months straight and it was the worst part of that 886 mile trip. I even considered running US 11 instead of 81 that's how much I hate that road

The driver was issued a summons for Reckless Driving, according to authorities.

    oh yeah, he's done.

maybe he can get a driving job, around the city driving a falafel truck.

falafel's. (in case you didn't know) really good stuff.

Falafel is a deep-fried ball or patty-shaped fritter in Middle Eastern cuisine made from ground chickpeas, broad beans, or both.

if i recall my first "taste"? of one of these, were from a street vendor in NYC.

i had to make a delivery off 5th AVE, where all the pretty young gals, i'd imagine models, were going into the building. they had those huge portfolio carry cases. (which usually has all thier portraits/poses)

i later found out, that i was indeed in the heart of the fashion district.

there were several street vendors, from those huge pretzels, hot dogs, falafels, just about every ethnic food one could imagine.

they were great., and the scenery was just as good too...!!!

NYC cops (2 on horses) said if i leave hungry, it's all my fault....lol

    mjd4277 and Grouch Thank this.
