Why not just make it a trillion? That would not be paid just as a billion won’t be.

That said, those two loser drivers should be in jail. They probably are, but CDL Life never digs for details.

 

Nobody is worth a billion dollars. Though both trucking companies had idiots behind the wheel. I’m thinking both companies will declare bankruptcy and they’ll only get what the insurance pays.

 

This make any sense to anybody else? How is the company in the first accident that did not hit the kid assigned that massive a punitive fine and not the truck that did hit him? Or am I reading something wrong there?

Nowhere even close to what their contractual percentage calls for. But they got one hell of a good billboard now. There can advertise they won their clients a billion dollars, right next to their serious, yet smiling faces.

 

It’s emotional thinking instead of common sense thinking.

 

Standard is somewhere around 30 to 50% in my experience.

 

This case was a lawyers wet dream.
