Fun Read. Deals with a couple trucks. Not Truck based.
Fun diversion story of a wanker with a mercedes that benz over the owner. Certainly more fun than readin' about the temporary and expense laden folks thinkin' "we'll finally make a difference" for the 4321st time in almost a century of TRUCKING.
    CHEERZ!!

As a part time broker, the rates are only cheap for the trucking carriers - brokers still are making bank :cool:o_O

Look at the politicians, think long and hard about how the screwed up our economy. Then ask yourself if you really think any of them could help you without making things much worse?

Protest cheap rates? Why not protest the utter mess our petroleum industry is in, north america wide, and demand it be restructured so fuel prices, and supply is fixed? Maybe add a dose of over regulation to it? Make it so ONLY the bad actors with high FMCSA scores have to use ELDS and they get a rectal probe on a regular basis. That I could get behind.

Rideandrepair, Siinman and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

Looks like this guy was full of it.
    No trucks showed up.

This poor soul was live steaming for a few hours out in NYC waiting for the trucks and they never showed up.

    Lonesome and Rideandrepair Thank this.

Poorly organized, no one knew about it, no one can afford the fuel cost to attend, too busy trying to tread water and not loose more money.

    OldeSkool and Rideandrepair Thank this.

    I’ve said this a 1000x

If we all, or even most of us just went out for breakfast tomorrow AM and sat until we all got more $ then that would happen before your next meal
If we all parked it wouldn’t take weeks and months like it does at a plant
We would literally shut down the World in a few hours
