102 years old and nobody cares enough about her to take care of her? That is just plain sad.:biggrin_25510:

That is bad, but she probably out lived anyone that would care.

On a related note. I didn't know Emma Watson was still alive. I remember seeing her on The Andy Griffith Show, and with her lumbago, and other illinesses, I thought she would be gone by now.:biggrin_255:

Cold hard business, only some computer screen to inform the tech to go out and cut the power at such and such address. Not like JEA would know who any of their long time customers are, or is it they just don't care?

I'm just guessing here, but this lady must have been an independent type. No local or state involvement? If so that's another woops. Or as most likely is the story she has fallen threw the crack.

I know she has lived a long life, but I hope she is able to recover from this.

I dunno,so few people make it to 100 nowadays....

    New rule
    Social services,state tax money,mayors vacation fund,something.

If a US citizen makes it to 100,they get free room and board on us,the U.S..

    Just a thought

P.S.thank god for the neighbor who checked on her that day, good to see the words "good neighbor" are still alive and well.
