I always let faster trucks pass on the highway, especially on the 402 and 401. I'd rather not have a big 80K pound rig beside me for more than 30 seconds at any given time. I am governed to 115 so I rarely ever get passed, but when I do ill slow it down just a bit.

Imo only a fool runs on his limiter all day regardless of weather or traffic . When doo doo hits the fan you either speed up slow down or switch lanes. Running side by side for miles on limiter you lost two options.

Exactly . The speed limit on the 400 series highways is still 100 km so why run up against the limiter all day .Run 100 km and leave yourself some leeway.

My friend recently got dinged on Tuesday for driving 112KMH in a 100 zone on 401 near Cambridge. But I guess the cops have no problem with the cars driving 130KMH+. Luckily they didn't have mto give him an inspection, just got a speeding ticket for 12KMH over.

Stupidest crap ever because there's a downhill around there near Ayr where I've hit 120+.

You can get a speed limiter ticket rolling the hills at that speed . Currently it’s the only way to get a limiter ticket. Keep speed within 10% and under 115 and you’ll beat tickets in court if you fight it.

The governing itself makes sense, but not riding in the fast lane in a governed truck. smh
