I've pulled plenty of 12' wides through fuel islands. Most will fit but I know there are some that may be too tight.

There is one local Flying J that if you get there early, trucks will be parking in the area leading up to the islands. To get fuel you have to come into the island at a angle, sometimes it's all you can do to get 8' 6" through there. If you can hit it straight, I've pulled 13' through there.

When oversize, I usually pull in the farthest fuel pump. Most times this will leave the adjacent pump lane empty as well. Leaving plenty of room to back out and pull around the Island if needed.
Some of the Mom and Pops will have the very last pump lane with no cover and a wide lane for oversize to fuel. Good luck

I have had to remove the nozzles and lay them down to get through once. The other driver that was supposed to be watching did not see it right in front of him but I could see it in the mirror.
