HARRISBURG, Pa. - A Philadelphia man was forced to pay more than $12,000 in child support for another man's daughter and spent two years in jail for falling behind on payments.
He served four six-month jail terms for not keeping up with support payments between 2001 and 2005, then lost his job. Petitions he filed for DNA testing were opposed by the court's domestic relations officials and denied by the judge.

I think the Judge should be forced to pay him back the 12000 and spend the same amount of time in jail, If judges had to pay for their own bull headness, the courts in this country would be much more fair.

You think maybe his attorney is at fault for not bringing DNA into the court in the first place?

    Malpractice.

You are right. I missed the part about not paying attention to the first letter and being dunned without representation.

The judge has failed to allow the evidence.

The fine should be double and the time in jail doubled. After all, he knew what he was doing, and that it violated the law.

This proves what I have said for years ... good news never comes by certified/registered letter (just 'cause it has your name on it doesn't mean you have to sign for it). :biggrin_25525:
