Maybe they should stop sending money to Ukraine and use it for the people here who need it.

 

Plenty of money to go around, apparently. While it's easy to say why build in a flood plane to begin with, but like tornado alley, folks will continue to build in unstable areas. Not clear why, but it's a giant crap shoot. Ashevilles last catastrophic flood was in 1916, and probably the last thing they thought would happen. Okay, Oklahoma gets slammed every year, but inland NC should have been pretty safe. Something like this, is hard to know where to begin. A tornado usually wipes out a relatively small section, but this was big. Don't worry, Old Joe takin' a look see today, and will make things right,,,I hope.
