I have a n14 460 red top engine in my kenworth and my oil temp gauge stopped working. I have no codes for that but a code for engine oil pressure voltage low. Anyone know where the sensors are and how to fix this problem? Thanks for looking

I think the 14 sensor was around the oil filter housing, but it's been a minute since I looked at one.
Should be a 2 wire plug. Roughly, unplug the sensor with the key on. Check DC volts across the 2 pins of the harness. There should be 5ish volts. 4.5-5.5.
If the voltage is good and female terminals of the connector are good, I'd replace the sensor.Oxbow, Notiller12 and Deezl Smoke Thank this. -
Check the oil rail down the left side of the block too, I can’t remember where the sending unit is, but, there are multiple ports along the rail. Be just below the fuel pump front to back. I have a fitting in one of the ports to pressurize the oil system after having any of the bottom end loose….

Ok thanks i will look into when we get into the shop.
Oxbow Thanks this. -
Just looked at an old N14 I have here, there is 6 ports along that rail. Easy to identify since the line from the oil pump goes into the front one….
Big Road Skateboard and Oxbow Thank this.
