2 cars left sandwiched in semi-truck crash along I-805

    BONITA, Calif. –A semi-truck crashed into at least two cars, pinning them between the Interstate 805 median Thursday afternoon.

    The crash that happened at 12:30 p.m. involved a semi-truck and two cars and blocked two northbound lanes on Interstate 805. California Highway Patrol issued a traffic alert and expected the crash to be removed from the area by 1:45 p.m.

    At least one person suffered minor injuries.

    The roadway reopened by 2 p.m. The cause of the crash was not released.
