2 places I would like to visit someday....

Couldn't read the first story as it requires a subscription. But the internet ends anywhere you want it to. I've been all over WV. Haven't seen anything that I, personally, would go back just to visit.

Now the other one is a different story. Wouldn't necessarily have to be that location. Just one that was a long way from city (or big town) lights. I grew up in the middle of nowhere. But being 25 miles away from both Portsmouth, OH and Marysville, KY was still not far enough to get a great star watching sky. On really cold clear moonless nights it was decent though.

 

I read the article. It mentioned that even a short circuited electric toothbrush could harm the telescopes. It’s WV. Slim chance of any toothbrush in the area, electric or not


Sorry, couldn’t resist. My future in laws are from WV and I have been harassing them for 6 years. No end in sight. It’s too easy.
