All the lines have been replaced. If it is air , I have done everything to bleed the system. No air bubbles appearing in the resivoire on the return side. That is where they should appear.
at this point I will have to limp this rig over to my local Detroit shop 8 miles away and have the crew take a look at this .

Did you crack the lines from pump to box at least.sounds like while sitting air bubbles go up fluid settles w/ no air in box then ehenvstarted pump pushes air into box
-
Try running w cap off and crack all lines loose while refilling reservoir. Your not going to see bubbles if trapped

If it’s got a hose w a bend or half loop that’s in a high spot in system . I’ve changed filters box never had problem like w yours mines Fld different hose design ?

I had a Ford pu w same problem it was the box

If you have a set up where the passenger side steering knuckle has a hydraulic ram disconnect it & plug the line
Start the truck
Turn til it's stiff
Mark location & undo 9/16? Bolt holding steering shaft to gear.
Turn the shaft by hand that'll eliminate or confirm bad u joint, slip joint, steering column
If your answer ain't there
Disconnect hoses at both sides
Blow into them w your mouth
If u cant blow air thru it's that hose
If your answer ain't there
Reconnect pressure hose to pump
Fill res with fluid
Start the truck
If your engine bay isn't soaked in ATF your pump is poop
If your answer ain't there
Either you did something wrong
Or they sold you a bad gear
Or if you have that hydraulic ram.. it has a bad valve. Get it rebuilt. Also not cheap. But I'm cheap which makes everything expensive to me -

I have cracked the high pressure line at the steering box. no air , as mentioned earlier there is a T at the end of the high pressure line with a quick connect on the other side of the T and tried bleeding there also and no air.

U have to eliminate components one by one until u find the culprit. It's the diagnostic process. Otherwise your gonna pay for each of your guesses whether it's right or wrong. It's gonna cost you money but it's also gonna cost u time & opportunity. If you don't wanna spend time diagnosing jus limp it or tow it to a shop & they'll do the diagnostic process & charge u money for their time & charge you money for parts and labor. The choice is yours.

What’s the T for? Power bleeding? Never saw that. Good luck plz update when repaired
