2003 4900 radio wiring?

    Figure you have it by now...but just for future reference. The easiest way to figure out wiring that you do not know it a test light and a AA battery. Find your hot key on, continuous hot, then using the battery pick a wire. Touch that wire to either side of the battery, then touch all the rest of the wires one at a time to the other side. When you find the two wires that correspond to a speaker the speaker will crackle. Then tape the two together or mark them. Pick another wire...eventually you'll work through the wires and find all your speakers. After that you should only have one or maybe a couple wires left. One will be your ground...and then you may or may not have a dimmer or something else. But all you have to have for any stereo to work is key on hot, continuous hot, ground, and your speakers. Have done electronics a LONG time and have run into what you described alot. The battery trick has never failed though. As long as you find your hot wires first you'll be fine touching most anything else that has to do with a stereo.
