i have a 03 volvo 660 with the 10 speed auto shift in it and recently have been getting the code cab controller fault allot alont with check engine and check transmission light when the transmission light comes on i cant shift my truck out of the current gear.. its a pain in the ### so i had the day off and figured id clean all connections from the battery to the connections on and around the trans .. well when finished i started the truck up and the cruise doesnt work and also when shutting the ignition off the engine stays running for a couple seconds before shutting down which never happened before i got back under the truck to make sure i plugged everything in and i did .. the cruise sometimes didnt work but if i shut it off and started it back up it usually did and now nothing.. after looking at my fault codes i noticed one that said acc pedal pos electrical fault inactive not sure if it was in there before or not any info would be great between the trans and cruise issues this truck has me stressed to the max as i have a load going to Louisiana tommorow

The Accelerator Pedal itself and or the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor might need to be replaced. If it is the original one than it's best to replace the whole Accelerator Pedal as it comes with a new Pedal Position Sensor included. A worn out Pedal will affect the operation of the Cruise Control and Jake Brake causing it to operate erratically.

is there any way to test it ? i dont like throwing parts at it and guessing

The Fault Code you posted is the Code for the part or parts I described, as far as if it will fix your truck, don't really know as there aren't any active codes yet.

If you have a J1939 problem it take up to 5-7 second before the engine shut down also it possible the cruise control (Fast Idle) don't work.
About your code for the pedal if you can read it with the cluster is it: MID 144 PSID 230 FMI 5 or somthing like that ?
If it is i recommand you to have a close look in the battery box for the little wires on the second battery it's ground for Vehicule ECU , make sure that little wire is in a good shape with a very clean terminal and a good contact on the battery bus bar.
Let me know please.

i checked and cleaned all grounds and wires that go to batteries and nothing .. the only way i can get cruise to work is to turn key off for a couple seconds and flip back on while then it works but when i go to take off the cab controller light comes on and i lose all power for a second or two then cruise doesnt work
