That's good to do on all engines at about 1mil just as maintenance we haven't done on any of ours and have not had any issues but I think it's a good idea as a precaution and as long as someone does it that knows what they are doing

U can not unplug it the wires are part of the main ECM harness and there is no plug anywhere besides the ECM plugs I wouldn't touch it if I was you even if it leaks ( which they all do ) don't mess with it

I have not seen anything that works to stop the oil leak I don't think it will damage anything because from my experience we have not had any issues whatsoever the only thing that works for a while I'd replacing the harness which is really expensive to do.

I look today and i was not able to hook up fuel pressure gauge because i have automotive tester and dont have those fitings. I instaled new over flow valve to day and activated a primer pump for like 4 minutes, truck started but 2 symbols on clustem came on , one it showed fuel symbol with water drops on side and other showed fuel sumbol with like vapors under, truck ran ok for like 20 minutes all ok, still have active code, i shut down the truck and tried to restsart after 20 minutes, i did start but was stumbling for couple seconds and both of those warnings came on, any ideas, thank you in advance

Check you're fuel pressure with vcad pro the one with the water drops means you have water in the fuel and the other one means you have air in the fuel being that u just opened up the fuel system the air is expected as for the water in the fuel depends what kind of water separator filter you have do u have the cartridge on the right side or the one mounted on the left side of the engine

I don't have vcads. I'm trying to buy one from china but I have to do more research. I have water seperator on right side of the frame. This thing was leaking coolant into fuel. When I want to drain it coolant came out and then fuel. For now took off coolant lines then I left coolant lines open, fuel was coming out so I got screw in pipe thread plugs with Teflon tape and no leak from it any more. I have to inspect fuel lines see if I don't get any leaks but I don't see any thing big. I know on diesel fuel lines might not be leaking but you might suck air into them. Any know problems with fuel lines. Should I drain mine tanks to see if coolant got into tanks. I know I don't have fuel in coolant I checked couple times.

K then the only thig that is left is the fuel pump nothing else will cause the symtops you're having I haven't had one problem with any of the fuel lines try to remove the pump and see how the shaft looks so its turning easy not damaged or bent
