Hi
I just purchased a 2006 9900i with a isx in it.
It all of a sudden started pushing coolant out the rad cap.
I put a new cap on and it stopped for about 4 hours and started again.
It only does it on and off not all the time. Last night I did a load and it pushed a little coolant out when I was loaded. I checked the sight glass after I was empty and the coolant was up in the top sight glass. I went and checked it when it was cold today and there is no fluid on the sight glasses at all.
I had no warnings at all when I drove it.
The truck is deleted also. I have no smoke at all.
I have check for combustion gas in the rad cap and had no reaction.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Can't discuss deleted trucks on this forum ,pushing water out of the rad. Cap not good . Possibly be head gasket or liners maybe a cracked head I'm just full of good news best of luck to you

Some trucks have a air operated blend valve in the bunk heater it can leak internely and put air pressure in the radiator, think that's on freightliner though good luck in all your adventures

Air compressor or head gasket.

Also I am talking about just a little coolant, not pouring out.

Yes I think I did have too much in it.
It was up in the sight glasses when I parked it and not in sight at all when cold.
Once I started it and it builds some heat it came into bottom sight glass.
Also the rad hose coming out the top of head is collapsing
Could that have anything to do with it pressuring up.
