Yes. The TPS (throttle position sensor) is mounted to your throttle pedal. I don't know if that's your problem, but it could be. If you do need one, many dealers say that they only sell the whole throttle assembly, but there is a link on Ecat to go to the breakdown and buy the sensor only. The sensor itself is just 2 screws and a 3rd to secure the harness, all done by flipping the pedal backwards. The hardest part is that you have to take the lower dash panel off to unplug and plug the new one in.

Didn't it throw any codes ? The check engine lite should of been flashing in 2 sets of codes. Also could be the one of the timing sensors going out. Or loose wire somewhere. Before spending the money, you need to pin point it. Goodluck.

NO CODE, AND NO FLASHING LIGHTS. JUST SOMETIMES WHEN I EASE ALONE OR LET OFF FROM IT, IT JUST DO IT SOME TIMES. LIKE THERE IS A CUT IN POWER, IT HAPPENS SORT OF QUICK. BUT NO CODES. OR LIGHTS

Could be the sensor that's on top of the valve cover on the right side of the engine. Can't think off the top of my head what's the actual name had the same issue on my cat earlier this year.

I would run in cruise as much as possible and see if the problem happens. If it don't happen again with cruise it is probably the sensor. Any 3 wire Tps sensor for a cat will work you would have to use your old plug if you run into a problem with availability. 2007 will have a 5-6 wire plug even though only 3 wires comes off pedal. The t2000 and 387 petes have a catch on the fuel pedal that wears out and will give a constant calibration code thus probably why grapeape mentioned dealers pushing the whole unit replacement option.

Mine did the same thing about a month ago. Was told a VVA was starting to fail. They just bypassed all of them. Problem gone.

I has a speed sensor wire go green years ago. It was similar but my speedo would drop also. It would kick off the cruise too. Thats the sensor on the back of the transmission.
